Stage Nine Exhibitions is looking to hire an entry-level welder
to assist in the fabrication and building of a variety of fun science and entertainment-oriented projects. Under the direct supervision of the managing fabricator, the entry-level welder will perform a variety of tasks including welding, problem solving, basic carpentry, clean-up, and general labor tasks. Occasional travel may be required.
Required skills include:
Proficiency in MIG welding
Some experience with TIG welding
Experience cutting and drilling steel
Inquisitive and mechanically inclined
High school level math skills (basic trig)
Basic computer literacy
Ideal candidates will have:
A genuine interest in aesthetics and insuring that your department’s work looks top-notch.
An ability to travel occasionally for up to 1 week at a time.
Reliable transportation (We are located in West Sacramento)
A self-directed, motivated personality
Flexibility in daily tasks
**A brief welding test will be conducted at the end of the interview.**
